Jodie Thompson

Managing Director

Area of Expertise: As Managing Director, Jodie ploughs her wealth of business experience into helping her clients achieve their goals, and helping our team achieve theirs. Jodie is an excellent mentor to staff and clients, her knowledge of business and accounting processes, solid grasp of technology and ability to solve issues makes her a great leader for our team and guiding light for our clients.

Qualifications: B Bus Commerce, Fellow of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand

Career Overview: Jodie started her career on the Sunshine Coast before moving overseas to work with some of the leading firms of the world including Price Waterhouse Coopers in London, Citibank in their International Financial Services Department and Enterprise Energy Ireland. Jodie began working with Geitz & Associates in 2004 and became a partner in 2005. In 2009 Jodie won the Corporate Business Woman of the Year through Sunshine Coast Business Womens’s Network. In 2014 Jodie founded Evolve Online Bookkeeping to provide professional bookkeeping services to clients and businesses outside of PJT. The business has grown to employ 10 full time staff in 18 months.

Life outside PJT: Jodie enjoys spending time socialising with family and friends, sport, surfing, travelling and experiencing new cultures and tastes when in Australia and overseas. She also claims to have the coolest kids, her son, Caruso and daughter Havana.

Chris Mulcahy


Area of Expertise: Chris specialises in Helping people plan, set goals and implement change to achieve goals. Also, working with farmers and businesses to develop succession plans to assist with the transition of business and assets. Finally, taxation planning, asset protection, business and asset structuring.

Qualifications: B Bus Commerce , Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants

Career Overview: Chris has the formal qualifications of Chartered Accountant but thinks much of his knowledge and experience is a result of growing up in a large family on a busy farm and being part of building the Mulcahy & Co business. “It’s one thing to sit behind a desk and tell clients what they should be doing. It’s another thing to have first hand experience of what you are recommending to clients. I think people value this and it is a big part of why we have been able to build trusting relationships with so many clients”.

Life outside PJT: When not at work Chris enjoys time with wife Tanya and 3 children, Will, Ella and Tilly. Living on 5 acres with a few sheep, chooks, motorbikes and garden there is always plenty to do! Over the past decade Chris has found the time to compete in around 25 Half Ironman 70.3 triathlons and 8 Full Ironman Triathlon races. This includes qualifying and competing in the Hawaii Ironman World Championships in 2013 and the 2014 70.3 World Championships held in Canada.

Kim Cameron

Advisor / Senior Accountant

Area of Expertise: Family Business, Women in Business

Qualifications: Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting, CPA

Career Overview: Kim has an accounting background in Local and State Government, and running her own accounting business. Before joining PJT,  Kim worked for Accounting & Business Advisory Firm at Airlie Beach, doing compliance and Business Improvement, working with clients to help them be empowered in their business.  At PJT, Kim specialises in hotel and motel industry accounting, as well as SME advice and compliance.

Life Outside PJT: Kim spends time running around after husband & 2 children Jackson and Lily. Kim is a netball tragic & all things netball, with both playing and coaching netball in the local area. She also keeps fit with Oztag and has taken on a passion for trekking the many mountains around the Sunshine Coast area following her Great Wall of China trek. In her down time she likes to lose herself reading a good novel. Kim enjoys the company of family and friends over a nice Sauvignon Blanc.  Kim is a champion of causes, and raises funds for Breast Cancer Research.

Senior Accountant

Area of Expertise: Michelle specialises in SME & taxation compliance work, GST & BAS services, QBCC Compliance, Trust Account Auditing and Self Managed Superannuation Funds, and is our resident Xero Hero

Qualifications: Bachelor of Business (Accounting), Commissioner of Declarations

Career Overview: Michelle began in public practice accounting in 2006 starting at a small suburban firm in Brisbane’s northern suburbs and then moving to a mid-tier firm in the heart of Brisbane, however after 7 years a sea change was calling and she joined PJT in 2013. At PJT, Michelle specialises in SME advice and compliance and takes a hands on role in training and mentoring the team.

Life Outside PJT: Michelle enjoys spending quality time with her partner Adam and catching up with family and friends. She also enjoys camping, boating, travelling and playing with her two spoilt dogs.

Senior Accountant - Part Time

Qualifications: Bachelor of Business (Professional Accounting), Chartered Accountant

Career Overview: Kylie started work as a graduate accountant for a small firm in Brisbane's CBD. After 9 years of working for that one firm, Kylie and her husband decided they wanted a sea change. After moving to the Sunshine Coast, Kylie joined another Sunshine Coast firm before moving to PJT in 2014. Kylie’s indepth knowledge of Super make her a great resource for the PJT team and clients alike.

Life Outside PJT: Kylie and her husband are parents to 4 year old Hannah and 1 year old Hayden, and also have a 7 year old black Labrador, Zeus. There's nothing Kylie loves more than to get away for the weekend camping and exploring the outdoors with her little family, BBQ's with extended family and friends, and spending LOTS of time at the beach.

Katrina Hoiberg

Career Overview: Katrina has been working on the Sunshine Coast for 7 years now, specialising in self-managed superannuation funds and small business entities. Katrina is not your typical accountant, she brings a happy spark to the team with her sense of humour & positive attitude. Katrina is committed to looking after the needs of clients.

Life Outside PJT: Katrina doesn’t take life or herself too seriously. On the weekends you’ll find Katrina by the beach with her partner and their newest addition to their family, Dutch (a black German Shepherd).

Career Overview: Jess started her career at a small firm in Rockhampton whilst completing her Bachelors degree.  She then moved to North Queensland for a graduate position with PriceWaterhouse Coopers, where she gained five years experience working with self-managed superannuation funds, SME’s and family businesses including agri-business, health and professional services.

Life Outside PJT: On the weekends you will find Jess running around the hockey field and exploring the many waterfalls and beaches Sunshine Coast has to offer.

Tania Brock

Office Manager

Area of Expertise:  Business Administration, Management, Personal Assistant and Client Services

Qualifications: Cert IV Business Administration, JP Qualified

Career Overview: Tania has over 20 years practical experience in administrative and office management roles predominantly in the accounting industry but has recently worked as an Executive Assistant with an insurance broker in Sydney.  Tania enjoys helping people and is happy to assist wherever possible to make others’ lives easier.

Life outside PJT: Tania is enjoying the peacefulness of life back on the Sunshine Coast. You will find her cycling, jogging and enjoying the company of her two grown children.

Tanya Kwocksun

Client Services Assistant

Area of Expertise: Client Service, Accounts Administration, Event Co-ordination

Career Overview: Tanya has had 30 years previous administration experience in a wide variety of roles in New Zealand, UK and Australia. Tanya comes with a welcoming personality and a great sense of humour and enjoys serving the clients of PJT.

Life outside PJT: Even though Tanya lives and works on the Sunshine Coast there is still a ‘holiday’ atmosphere to life and she really enjoys it when family and friends come to stay! She is also taking advantage of the many bikeways around the Coast and riding to work when she can.

Career Overview: Josh has worked in IT on the Sunshine Coast for over 9 years with over 5 years supporting the Finance and Accounting Industry before joining PJT in 2018.

Life outside PJT: Josh mostly enjoys going camping, fishing, BBQing and hanging out with his 2 year old Ridgeback X named Bear.

Career Overview: Mellanie started her career 27 years ago as a data entry clerk for an accounting firm in the centre of Sydney. Since then she has worked her way up through the ranks in various bookkeeping/accounting, management, administration & HR roles across many varying industries. She has gained a wealth of knowledge in the intricate operations of small to medium businesses & since moving to the Sunshine Coast 8 years ago she has managed small businesses predominantly in the building industry.

Life outside PJT:Mellanie loves to start her day with an early F45 work out or a nice long beach walk. On the weekends you can find her anywhere near the water, exploring the coast with her two teenagers or relaxing at home with her two fur babies.

Career Overview: Bianca has almost 10 years’ experience in real estate and business administration and is studying her Bachelor of Business majoring in Finance. She brings to the team a passion for business strategy and planning along with a great sense of humour.

Life outside PJT: In her spare time, you can find Bianca with her partner and young son at the beach with their two dogs or relaxing at home with a good book.
